Mike Cressey was one of the first to get airborne and he had this nicely painted foamy, here inverted.
Mike Duran had this bi-plane dancing and floating and spinning as he is sure to do.
Mark Lowe and Jim Spitz each had planes that I'd not photographed before so they had my focus (pun intended) a good part of the morning.
Jim's B-25J Bomber "Panchito", one of the planes in Jimmy Doolittle's Raid on Japan flown from the USS Hornet.
The real B-25J Bomber "Panchito". Photo taken April 17-19, 2012 at the 70th Reunion of Doolittle's Raiders, in Dayton OH.
Mark's model is a pretty good replica, after all.
Jim's classic gull-wing Corsair
There was a lot of intruder air traffic this day. Here are some photos of those who came within a short distance of us.
"Come on you! What are you, anyway? Lame ducks? Get into formation!"
Alex Vanover and a shot of his SE-5
Pretty near to the end of the morning's flying, we took a break and had some fun gathering around.
Several of us were wearing Little Toot jackets, compliments of Tommy Meyer. An early Christmas present.
Mark's WWII classic Japanese Zero
Mark's WWI classic German Albatross

Mike Cressey emphasizing his point to Ernie and Tommy!
