There were several planes that just seemed exceptionally photogenic today.
I have a series of shots for these plane, disproportionate to the total number of planes that flew this morning.

Two models were flown for the first time at HMF, a Pitts and the EXTRA-300.

I'll start off this coverage with a YAK-54 belonging to Brent Groff.

Brent Groff is owner of Old Town Hobby Shoppe on Main Street in Old Town Lewisville.

Next is Tommy Meyer's WWI SE-5A

Here is Chad Morphew's EXTRA-300

Jim's, Mark's & Chad's P-47 Thunderbolts

With a little formation flying practice, someday this will be a nice tight picture.
That's the Pitts in the upper left, tho'.

Here is Jim Kitz' Pitts

Also Jim's

Here's the rest of the crowd:

Gary Osborne's glider in the early morning sunrise glow

Tommy's F22 has a bead on Mark's!

Notice the blur of the prop on Tommy's F-22

And Derek Couch owns a well conditioned 1966 Chevrolet pickup.

A straight 6!                       Nice bed!

Did we have a little WWI re-enactment going on at HMF on Saturday? Nah...
Here's an example of the artistry that Mike Duran of duranphotography.com
is capable of doing. He's a master photographer and picture processing genius.

This is one of my photo's (second row, right of the SE-5's) with Mike's touch added.
