I took some shots of some of the models that we'll have in action the next time. Mark Lowe and I hope to get in sync, once again, to produce some great shots like this one here:
It was pretty windy today and most didn't risk flying. Takeoff and flying is difficult enough with a 7-10mph wind; making a safe landing is especically hard, harder on the model when it crashes. A dreat job of field maintenance by Mark and Jim for how much area they mowed with a 22" mower!! Thanks, guys.
But thanks to Tommy Meyer, no one went home disappointed. Tommy served up a great breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, diced potatoes and onions.Awesome chef 'ing!! And the "Sheriff" brought an urn of coffee.

We did has some flying but only the good and the brave dared.
Below, Cecil launches for Ernie.
The breakfast line has formed. Ernie looks surprised that he got beat by Mike for first on line!

A Maule registerd to a Johnny Thompson flew over HMF and we wondered who had that thing under remote control...
