LJ, the photo hound

Jim and I were out before sun-up and he had a blast flying this glider in the dark. He'd go fly to the east just shy of Shiloh Road and we'd see a passing vehicle slow down staring at the 'UFO'.

This is an angle-up at the bottom of the glider and you can see the outline of the wing, fuselage and vertical stabilizer.
There was a lot of intruder air traffic this day. Here are some photos of those who came within a short distance of us.
Here's one intruder we know, Phil Witt, in Tinker Bell.
Tommy readies his Gee Bee, while Gary and Alan have theirs airborne
Here's our newcomer, Alexander Vanover. Alex is a polite, well spoken young man who already exhibits mastery of the controls.

While he was controling his plane he did three consecutive loops, each virtually identical to the prior in height and shape of loop.
