George Meyer had only made Little Toot's grand entrance onto the home-built stage in 1957. Paul Hayden and Al Tate were impressed enough to choose it when they decided to construct one for themselves.
They began building in 1960 completing with a maiden flight on November 7, 1964 in Augusta Maine.
Paul and Al are the builders and first pilots of Little Toot N920Z, called Zero Zip.
Paul started EAA Chapter 87 during the early 60's, a chapter which is still active today.
Memories on the home office wall of Scott Hayden, son of Paul.
